Since 2025, this route has been excluded from the general quota of 500 Inca Trail permits and now offers 250 exclusive spaces every day. This allows greater flexibility and access for travelers seeking an intense yet brief adventure.

🗺️ Itinerary overview
🥾 Day 1: Jungle, history, and arrival at MachuPicchu
- Start at km 104
- Hike through the cloud forest
- Visit the archaeological sites of Chachabamba, Choquesuytuy, Wiñaywayna, Intipata, and Intipunku
- Arrival at MachuPicchu around 5:00 PM (brief panoramic visit)
🌄 Day 2: Full MachuPicchu experience from sunrise
- Official entrance to MachuPicchu from 6:00 A
- Guided tour through the entire sanctuary
- Optional: climb to the highest complex, Waynapicchu (additional cost: US$ 23.00)
